What Series Would You Like to See?

A lot of thought and prayer goes into developing Worship that will encourage, inform and challenge us in our walk with Christ so that God is glorified in us.  Pastor Jim and the Worship Committee would like to hear from you as a part of this process.

These are some potential series for this Summer:

Runnin' on Empty? Fuel Up!

It’s easy to get so caught up in what we need to do that we find ourselves out of gas—physically, emotionally, spiritually.  That’s not what God wants for us.

Here are some tips to Fuel Up for life in Christ.

  • Claimed by God, Isaiah 43:1-7; Luke 3:15-17, 21-22
  • It's Not All Up to You, 2 Cor 5:17-6:2; John 14:11-17, 23-27
  • Serving From Your Gifts, Romans 12:1-13; Eph 4:1-7, 11-16
Suit Up!

Ephesians 6 encourages us to put on the whole armor of God.  We spend three weeks exploring the armor—what is it, how do we equip it, and how do we use it.

  • Belt and Breastplate, Ephesians 6:10-17
  • Shoes and Shield, Ephesians 6:10-17
  • Helmet and Sword, Ephesians 6:10-17
If you find yourself being particularly drawn to one, please answer the survey below to share that with Pastor Jim by June 12th.

Thinking farther ahead, either as a “start the school year” series or a “start the New Year series”, Pastor Jim is praying about a series that would speak to people who are curious about church life:

Christianity’s Family Tree: A Look at Why Are There So Many Different Kinds of Christians, How did it Happen, What Do Other Christians Believe, and How Does ANY of that Help Us?  In this 7-8 week series, we’ll explore Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, Anglicanism/Episcopalians, Baptists, Pentecostalism, and Methodists

Finally: Are there topics or parts of Scripture that you’d like to explore in Worship?  Please give it some prayerful thought and share what God puts on your heart.
