Mission Basket Update - Thanks to your generous support, we collected $596.25 in July for St. Joseph’s Center. August’s basket offering will go to the Newton Ransom Volunteer Fire Company.
TREX Recycling Program - We have resumed our soft plastic recycling program sponsored by TREX. Collection bins are located at the upper and lower levels of the church. Any questions, contact Phyllis Fayocavitz, pjfayo@gmaili.com or 570-587-5677.
Online Giving Now Available - Members and friends of Countryside can now make one-time or recurring gifts directly on our church website. Stop worrying about weekly envelopes or mailing in special donations! Instead, give a gift at any time (from any device that connects to the internet) using a current email and checking account/credit card. It’s simple and secure. You can even turn your tithe into an automatic gift that gives when and how often you’d like with your own online donor account. Visit www.countryside-church.org/give to see how easy it is!
Equal Exchange - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Equal Exchange sales are down 38,000 lbs worldwide. In order to support individual farmers, we have set up a table in the lobby of the church (outside café/sanctuary). Feel free to stop by the church Monday-Friday 9am-2pm to pick up tea, coffee, chocolate, nuts, cocoa, olive oil, and other fairly traded items. Cash, checks, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay can be used to purchase. See Jeff in the office for details.
Fall Mum Sale - Saturday, Sept. 19 (orders due by Sept. 13). Pick up at the lower level of the church between 8:30-10:00 am.$10 each - 9” size in color choice of red, orange, purple, white, or yellow. To order, contact Sue Youtz at syoutz812@comcast.net or call 570-947-2474.
