Mission Basket Update - Thanks to your generous support, we collected $855.85 in August for the Newton Ransom Volunteer Fire Company. September’s basket offering will go to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Mission Team Collection - The Mission Team is initiating a collection of non-perishable items for distribution to local food banks and shelters. Different items will be collected each month and announced on the last Sunday. September’s collection will be canned goods of all types. (pop tops preferred if available) Collection bins will be located behind the church each Sunday after our drive-in service and volunteers will accept your donations as you exit in your vehicle. Please help our neighbors in need as we continue to struggle through trying times.
Equal Exchange - Feel free to stop by the church Monday-Friday 9am-2pm to pick up tea, coffee, chocolate, nuts, cocoa, olive oil, and other fairly traded items. Cash, checks, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay can be used to purchase. See Jeff in the office for details.

Warm Hugs - Warm Hugs will meet on Tuesday, October 13, at 9:00 am. We need pocket-sized hand sanitizer and tissue packs to put in the pockets of the Hugs. (* Masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed.)
Hug Day, With a Twist - Everyone is invited to visit our homebound members, who will be on their porches, Sunday Sept 27th. We will be presenting them with a gift made by our Youth Group and a “warm hug” made by our Warm Hugs Group. We will be praying with our member, singing hymns if you want to, and giving them an “Air Hug” as we leave. Please view corona virus rules put in place by Our Member Care Committee on our website.
